"I'm very passionate about Customer Mania, being quite a picky customer myself. I try to make sure that every single person that comes into my restaurant - whether they dine-in or come in for takeaway, - has their expectations exceeded.
When we get a children's birthday party, we try to take over from the mum, and say: 'Alright, we'll take over from here; you just sit down and relax'.
So we'll take them to the ice-cream factory, and give them a look into the kitchens to see how their pizzas are being made. So the kids feel special while the parent gets a break.
I love Pizza Hut training. I've worked in a few companies before and the training was good, but Pizza Hut's training is great. When I turned up on my first day and saw all the modules I'd have to complete, I was blown away.
I thought there was no way in the world I'd be able to do it. Six months later, the modules were completed, plus I had done my practical training and gathered a huge amount of information in the process - practical as well as theoretical.
And the nice thing about it is I still have those modules. They're in the restaurant and I use them whenever my team members or I need to refresh ourselves about something."
