"I've got a lot of freedom in the restaurant I run. I joined the company as an external Restaurant General Manager (RGM) for a new outlet, so I've been there right from the very beginning - from when it was built to when the staff were being recruited.

Now that we've got the restaurant up and running, I'm seeing my team develop and become stronger, and bring a little bit 'extra' into work with them.

I run little competitions where whoever sells the most of something gets an ice-cream at the end of the shift, and other staff incentives where they can win vouchers. We also have our staff nights out and other team-building exercises. We really think of it as our restaurant.

The training that I've received with Pizza Hut has been fantastic. When I joined the company I was placed in a restaurant to train with an RGM who was an inspiration.

From the day I started she couldn't do enough to help me; in fact, everyone there made me feel part of the team."
