Supply Chain
We purchase around 350 different food and 600 non-food products for 58
million customers every year – everything from chairs and uniforms to
mobile phone contracts and suppliers such as cleaners. We regularly liaise
with the New Product Development and Planning departments to source
cost-effective ingredients for new menu items and negotiate rates for new
restaurant fittings in association with Business Development.
We also look after the logistics for our 700 Dine In Restaurants and Delivery
Stores. All our products are collected from the suppliers and through
streamlining the distribution network we manage to obtain maximum value for
money, achieving top figures on availability and on time deliveries. The
division also includes our vitally important Quality Assurance department.
This is where we closely monitor the quality of all our products and ingredients
- so there's lots of tasting involved!
