However big and successful we become (nearly 700 UK stores and counting…) our restaurants will always be the face of our business. So the way we manage them is of great importance to our future. If we want to maintain our fun and friendly atmosphere, we need managers who are innovative, team-focused and, most importantly, up to the challenge of making sure every customer leaves with a smile on their face. It’s what we at Pizza Hut call ‘Customer Mania’, and it affects every aspect of the way we run our business.
Why join us?
Well, we have a commitment to the training and development of all our employees that’s pretty much unrivalled. In fact, it’s one of the main reasons our staff are some of the longest serving in the industry. Our size means that there’s plenty of opportunity to develop a real career. But, just as importantly, there’s a real family feel to working here, so you’ll feel supported every step of the way as you grow, taking on more and more responsibility as and when you’re ready. This might include moving up into larger stores, or further up the Operations chain into an Area Manager or even Regional Director position. You supply the ingredients, and we’ll help you whip up a storm.
Our restaurants
Each of our restaurant formats has a different sort of feel, with different types of customers looking for a different type of experience. So whether you’re looking for the fast-paced buzz of leading a team on a busy Friday night of home deliveries or are looking to show off your fine attention to detail in a dine-in restaurant, we’ve got a challenge to match your skills.
Home Service – the Pizza Hut high-street outlets that deliver pizzas hot, fresh and on time to our hungry customers, who either call us up, or pop in. There’s no table service here, so you’ll need to support your team to keep the pizzas coming to the highest of standards, even during the biggest football match of the year, and build up a strong base of loyal customers as you go.
Full Service – our famous fun-for-all-the-family dine-in and takeaway (and sometimes delivery) restaurants, complete with menus, servers and that all-important ice-cream factory. Yum. When you’re not supervising and training your staff to meet targets, you’ll be out and about on the floor making sure our customers are happy and well catered for, even the nippers attending our popular kids’ birthday parties.
Express – if you’re a keen shopper or rollercoaster fan, you may have seen our newest style of restaurant cropping up in shopping centres and theme parks all over the country where customers can dine in or takeaway. If not, you’re in for a real treat, as these extremely fast-paced outlets are the ideal place to hone and flex the sort of management skills that could see you go far.
